Ruby is president, founder and chief scientific officer of Applied StemCell, Inc. Previously, she worked at Stanford University as director of its Transgenic Research Center and associate director of its Cancer Institute. At Applied StemCell, prior to her current role, Tsai led the company’s gene and cell therapeutic pipeline. She is a co-inventor of its TARGATT™ integrase technology for site-specific gene insertion.
